USA Props Canada as the One of the Best NationsBE PROUD CANADA, WE'RE IT!Canadians have a reason to be proud. I think down deep a lot of us are already very proud of where we live but our humility holds up back from shouting it out. After all, Andrew Mercado of No Future Skateboarding is the first to chant USA! USA! - at even Canadian races and somehow we end up loving him for it. We get along so good with our racer friends south of the border that for a lot of us skaters, it's why we travel across the world to meet up for a session. We love our American friends and cannot wait to see you again in 2010. WHAT?! we ain't afraid to say it!Last night we lay to rest knowing that every few days we get another gold medal and our athletes are making us proud even if they do not 'own the podium'. For many of us, we just feel proud to be hosting the largest party in the world! Any medal is a good medal to us. Jon Montgomery, Scott Moir and Tessa Virtue, Alexandre Bilodeau, Ashleigh McIvor and Maelle Ricker's Gold Medals this week is icing on the cake for a lot of us. This video says it all and thus we NEEDED to put it up. Our country is one of the nicest and bravest in the world. Take Joannie Rochette for example. That's a whole other story. Enjoy this clip, it's nice to propped by NBC. By the way, the first 10 seconds of this piece (Surrey/Blaine border), is literally minutes from - 23% Oxford Street in White Rock, BC (Colabo Innovations Studio) . Come Skate my American Friends!
